Born from the idea and the desire to combine and enhance the company, product and territory.
It is a tribute to Lugana wine, fresh and easy to drink with a harmonious and delicate flavor.
Straw yellow in color with greenish reflections, it offers delicate floral and fruity aromas with a good contrast between softness, acidity and flavor.
The aromas are gentle and attractive, lime and hawthorn followed by peach, pear, pineapple, almond and a light mineral touch. The taste is pleasant, lean and snappy, with a decidedly fresh prevalence and a discreet citrine persistence.
A versatile wine excellent with aperitifs and fish dishes.
The yellow color
Emblematic for Lugana, it recalls the straw yellow wine and the colors of the territory but also its deeper meaning of “Silva Lucana”. Etymologically, "Silva" has the meaning of wood, the voice "Sil, Syl, Sul" that of shining, shining and "Lucus" that of Sacred.
With the choice of these terms to identify the area, the Romans, who were experts in agriculture and pastoralism, found themselves immersed in an immaculate green space, wanted to emphasize the sacredness of the place to give it uniqueness. Hence the choice of the golden yellow color, a symbol of sacredness and value but also of light, of the golden beams that penetrate the clayey fields and undoubtedly bind to the nuances of ripe grapes and Lugana Doc wine.
The Blue color
The blue color of Lake Garda, a fundamental element for the denomination and also for the position of Az. Agricola la Conta, rising in fact a few meters from its waters.
It takes its name from an ancient wall, still visible today, located a few meters from the company. It was expertly built-in red bricks, made in the original kilns of the area which exploited the presence of clay, firewood and water to create bricks.
Murolungo had the task of containing the lake waters and protecting the innermost part of the earth, creating a link and a balance just as Azienda Agricola La Conta is in the middle between Lake and Clay, Murolungo between Water and Earth.
